<p dir="auto">No, it isn't a sequel but an entirely new view of the concept so from what I've heard and read, it will take elements of Farmers' "Riverworld" and expand on them.    So it will be the same territory, but different.  I do know that just about everyone who worked on the project was really excited about it.</p>
