Sorry, it seams I got carried away. It's not a new mini-series, after all, just a compilation of some of the episodes that featured Methos with some new extras, interviews and stuff thrown in.
That's still awesome! Methos was, by far, the most interesting and intriguing character on the show, and Peter did a WONDERFUL job portraying him. It also helps that it sounds like he had a wonderful TIME portraying him.
That would be great if they had one about Methos. He was a great recurring character. I really didn't like Amanda, or Richie, bu7ect I did like Methos.
I agree with you. Richie and Amanda weren't on my very short list of favorite characters. Amanda, to me, has always been annoying. And Richie? Eh. He's okay.

I enjoyed Richie and Amanda but only as foils to the intrepid Macleod the only recurring characters on the series with the chops for their own series' were Joe and Methos. A series focusing on Joe interacting with a new immortal 'charge' would have been cool and the majority of the fandom would fall over themselves with joy at the announcement of a methos centric series. Thanks for the info about the Methos Boxset. I'd never seen Peter Wingfield before 'Highlander', but he made such an impression in his first episode, that I just wanted to watch all of the other ones he appeared in, before I continued with any of the other episodes. It'll be great to hear his commentary to each of the 6 chosen episodes. Hope it gets a Region 4 release.

That would be fu*king wonderful!! But only if Peter Wingfield plays Methos. And I don't care that he dosen't look the same age as when he was in the series. He still looks great, and only he can be Methos.
