if u have soul plane and watch it with the commentary they will say it is his wife. I dont know for sure if she was Gina's mom. I may be wrong about that

The lady who played Gina's mother on "Martin" is actress JudyAnn Elder. She was not in Soul Plane and is not the real life wife of John. John's wife is co-owner of an art gallery with him.
