I heard about the scandal for years now, but even after all this time I still can't get over my shock at how badly he fell from grace. He must have been filled with so much self-loathing to have fallen so far.

he always looked older than he was. in 1986 he was 43 and looked like 50 something. and the drugs surely didnt improve his looks.

Yeah maybe he just lost alot of his money and fell into a depression, its sad to see him like this, hopefully someone in his family can help him, doesnt seem like a bad guy, hes just made alot of stupid decisions, hope he gets better, I loved Alf and it hurts to see someone I grew up watching from my childhood, become what he has.

Yeah, the drinking, drugs, DWI's, unprotected sex with homeless men, crack. All this led to Max not getting anymore phone calls. In Hollywood, when the phone don't ring it's about as depressing as depressing can get.
