I think Jane Wyman is wildly underrated as one of the great actresses in film history, at her best she's as a great as anyone yet she never really gets the notice of a Bette Davis or Katharine Hepburn or Barbara Stanwyck, even with her Oscar and four Academy Award nominations. Few actresses can move an audience like Jane can in a sentimental or poignant role. I think these are Jane's greatest films:

Johnny Belinda

The Yearling

All That Heaven Allows

Magnificent Obsession

The Glass Menagerie

Miracle in the Rain

Pollyanna

Here Comes The Groom

Let's Do it Again

Just For You
I haven't seen The Blue Veil or So Big, two films that probably should be on this list, particularly "Blue" given she was Oscar-nominated for it and even beat Vivien Leigh (in "A Streetcar Named Desire") for the Golden Globe that year.

I don't consider this to be her "best" but thought I would mention that I think she was a better Torchy Blane (Playing with Dynamite) then the other two actresses.

That's funny, as I was scrolling down the thread I thought I'd put her marriage to Ronald Reagan.

Her best performance was when she signed the divorce papers with Ronald Reagan.

I absolutely adore Jane Wyman and love every performance of her. Her greates5b4t one definetely was in "Johnny Belinda", but I do also love "All that Heaven allows", "The Yearling" and "Miracle in the Rain". Your list matches nearly to my opinion, but "The Blue Veil" and also "The lost Weekend" should be also mentioned

I keep hoping THE BLUE VEIL will get a big "seen for the first time in decades" unveiling on TCM ala Barbara Stanwyck's SO BIG and Ginger Roger's RAFTER ROMANCE and other films that were discovered to have withdrawn or locked away often without the owners realizing it.
