His birthdate is one year and a day after mine. And I think he's got tremendous talent, he's not just a gimmick, he's got great breath control and timber, and the way he caresses certain vowels of the words as he's singing, almost as if he's making love to them, smooootthhhhh.
The only thing that kept him back was Randy Travis and after that Alan Jackson. IMO

He lifts me clear to the sky, you know he taught me to fly.
