Dwight Yoakam is a great actor. I am often amused by his talent and highly entertained by the roles that he choices. However, most of the characters that he plays are either law breaking individuals or they are those characters with low morals and very loose ethical standars. For example: Burnham-Panic Room, Doyle Hargraves-Sling Blade, Doc Miles in Crank & Crank: High Voltage, Leroy Wasley-Hollywood Homicide, Blair: The Minus Man, Bandidas-Tyler Jackson, and etc.
He plays those roles well and they are very enjoyable but it would be nice to see him play a nice guy occasionally.
