I agreed with almost all the Oscars given that night (including Crash as Best Picture. It wasn't better or worse than Brokeback Mountain, it's just different), but I got disappointed when the Oscar didn't go to Kathleen's "In the Deep" song. The winnin song was great, yeah, good lyrics, but you can't compare it with "In the Deep".
This one is just really emotional, express a lot of emotions through the lyrics and the music. It had really clever and beautiful lyrics, plus a perfect and simple music that made it great. And Kathleen "Bird" York's voice was just amazing.
