Kathleen (aka Bird) is an incredible musician and her IMDb profile doesn't do her music career justice (yes, I knowit's a movie database, but still!). If you liked "In the Deep", I'd highly recommend that you check out her CD 'Wicked Little High'. It is fantastic! You can listen on Amazon.com or her website (www.birdyork.com). Her voice is amazing.

Do you know any place to find the film's score/soundtrack? I've only found a couple of Bird York songs.

While we all agree that Bird York is a talented musician and how wonderful her album 'Wicked Little High' is, not too many people know that she actually released an album called "The Velvet Hour". This is where the Oscar-nominated song "In The Deep" first made its appearance before it was included in her more high profile release 'Wicked Little High'. She's got an incredible voice - supple at both ends of her range and a mellifluous middle range.
I agree she is also 5b4very beautiful which is just icing on an already talented lady.

She is a GREAT singer. PLEASE, listen to (or rather, buy immediately) her album Wicked Little High (2006). It has at least five tracks as good as 'In the Deep'. In the top 10 of my 600+ CD collection.

I saw her in concert this Summer. She was opening for Chicago. I had never heard of her before, but I really enjoyed her music, and she does have a fantastic voice.
