It is, even more important in that the season was sort of mediocre up to that point.
I did not realize until recently that she was also Shandra in NWN 2, which is funny cuz thats another video game character I never got enough of.

She was indeed awesome. I've never seen such a combination between whit, charm and all that sensuality, sweetness and funnyness. She didn't even look dirty, despite being extremely attractive. She must have had some strip classes in order to do that role, because she was perfect. That's why she was chosen, because Frasier in the end commented about judging the book from its cover, and she was ideal for that. Her voice was as sexy as her looks, and she was so natural and convincing, whether she was playing cop or stripper. She's otherwise lovely, gorgeous and strong, a great woman to talk with, beautiful legs, etc, hands, smile and hair, tall and that little blonde pout too. "You have the right to remain aroused!" - I certainly remain aroused for a long time after watching her act!
