I am listening to The Alan Young Show right now on When Radio Was on my local AM radio station. It's a pretty funny show, even by today's standards.
In the 1991 movie, Earth Angel, Alan plays Cindy Williams' father. There is a scene where he is sitting on the couch watching TV, and you can hear the theme song from Mister Ed coming from the TV. Really funny!

I don't have a link. I remember the scene of Alan Young watching Mister Ed from having watched the movie. It's available on DVD from Amazon.
