My whole family loves Adventures in Odyssey. Ive listened to them all. My favorite is The Search for Whit because it is comical, suspenseful, and has a really good message about faith.

My favorite episodethat's a hard one, after 628 episodes have aired. I love "The Time Has Come" as well, for all the reasons you mentioned. I also really enjoyed "Connie, I & II," where Connie becomes a Christian. I loved how, similar to Eugene, we see flashbacks of Connie's life that point her toward God.
I've also enjoyed the recent episodes dealing with Mandy's parents' divorce, especially Life in the Third Person I & II. I think the subject was handled tastefully and appropriately, and I was glad the episodes' theme pointed to trusting in God no matter what the outcome.

So what is your all-time favorite episode of Odyssey? Mine is "The Time Has Come," where Eugene finally gives his life to Christ after the imagination station adventure that shows him how his whole life has been leading him up to this one point and one choice- For Christ. Very Cool

I've loved Odyssey ever since I was littleI've probably listened to almost every one of the 600+ episodes that have aired. I got word from an AIO writer that Alan Young will appear as Jack Allen in at least three episodes of the upcoming Spring 2007 season of Odyssey.

That's great to see other AIO fans on the IMDb! I used to listen to them constantly when I was younger. Im 22 and I still listen occasionally. Last I heard Eugene had found his dad.
But yeah, kygal9, that is wonderful when you recognize the voice of someone on TV as being someone from Odyssey. There are a lot of them out there.

I had the honor of talking with Alan on the phone last month. I interviewed him for my radio show in Philly. He IS a great person! One of the nicest people I've ever had the chance to interview! He seemed just a thrilled to be doing the interview as I was & made me feel very comfortable. Usually I'm nervous during interviews. A few minutes into this one, I felt like I knew him for years. I'm an AIO fan as well! I love Alan Young's voice, and I hope that Jack is on more episodes of AIO soon! I love eps with him and Joanne! Jack sounds like a wonderful person, and from some things I've heard, it sounds like Alan Young is also a great person!

Yes he is still on Adventures in Odyssey, but his character is not a central as it once was now that Whit has returned. He does show up every once in a while. The last episode with him in it was in the 2004-2005 season.

i haven't heard a new episode of AIO in years. last i knew, jack had married joanne and they bought an art imporium or something. i still listen to the old episodes. i love the ones with the imagination station. i wanted one so bad when i was younger. heck, i'm 19, and i still want one. and a whit's end. life would have been so much more fun as a kid with one of those around. minus the evil dr. blackard, of course. no ruku virus for me, thanks.

His character is married now and they're starting a new season but I believe that he is still on. (I think something came up about his character being a missionary again.)
