Rob is doing a movie version of The Munsters. I don’t think it will work, because the TV show was family friendly. Rob Zombie’s movies are anything but family friendly. I just don’t like the idea of him directing it.

Rob Zombie is good at the ghoulish. Considering that The Munsters was a comedy farce and not a horror flick, one would think he'd remove any debauchery and sadism from it. If he's smart he'll do ultra-ghoulish without the pathology.

I agree.
He will probably show Grandpa and Eddie biting necks and drinking blood with so much gore and Fred working at the funeral home showing dead bodies that were killed in all sorts of horrible ways.
Lilly: How was your day, dear?
Fred: Well, we thought we lost a head until I looked in my bowling bag and here it is!
Fred pulls out a head with blood dripping off of it
