the smiths song 'I want the one I cant have' is I think one of their best. I've listened to it so many times and it just never ages. That twist towards the end still gets me..

'i started something i couldn't finish' is quite possibly my favourite song, it makes me think of times past when i played this before going out and always reminds me of it. brilliant.

I also agree with the point made about The Boy With The Thorn In His Side - although fairly well known, it deserves recognition as one of the greatest pop songs of all time.
