Wow now it seems that another member of the Royal Family has fallen for a woman the family may not approve of. We all know about Harry dating actress Meghan Markle who is biracial and from a working class background. Since he is far down the line and the queen is tired of all the romantic dramas she has had to endure, she might relent and let them marry or forbid it as well. I read Camilla convinced Charles to not accept Harry's new gf since she does not want another commoner like Kate in the family. Then again, it could all be rumors, who knows.

Charles married Diana for one purpose; to produce heirs. All his other preferences and desires were provided by Camilla. Diana tried to please her husband, but couldn't compete. IMHO, of course.

Charles and Camilla had a relationship dating back to their 20's. She would have married him then but he didn't ask. Camilla had a reputation, then unacceptable in the royal family. (Sarah Ferguson had one too but it was overlooked when she married Prince Andrew in 1986.) So while Charles was off doing his military thing, Camilla married Parker-Bowles.

Charles is a wimp that's obvious so he chose who the told him to choose instead of who he really wanted. If he had wanted Camilla he should have been man enough to marry Camilla from the start.
