She will never be the people's Princess as Di was. Charles was blind or stupid to cheat on his pretty wife for this women.

Well at least he waited a few years after Di passed on couldn't you image the reaction if Charles married right after Di's death the people would of turned on him. Has anyone watched the movie "Queen"?

I read Majesty Magazine. A source which I think is pretty reliable. All I know is what I wrote about in my previous post. I've read up on her interference but it sounds like what I've read may have a strong bias.

You can tell you haven't read up on Camilla's interference in Diana's marriage, before, during and after. That woman deserves no respect (neither does Charles)- what she and Charles did was plain disgusting- there is no excuse for it. Also there is a reason, albeit stupid, as to why Camilla and Charles didn't get married in he first place.

No, and I've only been on this earth for 16. My point is, is that nobody's perfect. Not even Diana. The reason the marriage failed wasn't only Camilla's fault. She was a part of it, yes, but Charles and Diana shouldn't have gotten married in the first place. I guess then you could question why Charles and Camilla didn't get married like they wanted to. They didn't and that was the big mistake. The way I see it is that right now, they're married, they're happy, and everything is as it should have been a long time ago. I call her sweet and humble because I havn't seen her lash out at the Spencer's or anyone else for that matter. It seems as though she just wants to put this whole mess behind her as do so many other people. I know she will never replace Diana, but I do think she deserves more respect than she's getting.

Charles and Camilla met when they were in their early 20's. She was not a suitable wife for him because she was promiscious. I don't doubt that they loved each other, but he knew his mother would never allow him to marry Camilla. He returned to the Royal Navy and Camilla married Parker-Bowles. She continued to see Charles whenever he was on leave. I'm sure the Queen knew all about Camilla, but having a mistress is not uncommon in the royal family.
Fast forward to 1980, when Charles was past 30. His parents and grandmother were putting great pressure on him to marry and begat a heir to the throne. Prince Philip is reported to ahve said something like, "If you wait too long, all the suitable girls will be gone." A suitable girl would have to be a virgin with impeccable breeding and an upper-class background. Nobody in Charles' age group fit the bill. Lady Diana Spencer, then 19 years old, did.
Charles had no intention of giving up Camilla. It is mind-boggling that he must have assumed Diana would never find out or care if she did. One can only guess how devastated Diana was when she learned the truth. She wanted to call off the wedding, but her sisters told her it was too late.
Charles and Diana had expectations about each other that were not met. He expected her to fit right into her royal role. She expected him to be a loving, attentive husband. The only thing they did right was to produce two beautiful babies.

Then why did he marry her if another woman had his heart.
