Only a passive sissy cuckhold would "like" that insult. I'd pubch drake in his ugly, deer/sloth looking face if he said that. Do ypu like sharing your girl, with other dudes or do you like watching your girl get violated by other dudes because she doesn't sexually want you? That's what your passive mentality alludes to.

Sadly, I must admit 90% of mememe feels this is SO TRUE! You explained it so eloquently!
and once the woman knew that she could WIN A PRIZE like drake if she wanted, that man of hers would have to step up his game even more to keep her & considering that he already had got her ringside tickets to see this highly in demand male specimen(he's had sex 4x's this wk:O) im sure she is going to have an EGO burst of her own when her man starts steppin even bigger & what drake said will be like WINNING THE LOTTO instead of like being insulted!!!!
I got a chance awhile back to rent that concert DVD The Up In Smoke Tour(2000)

I believe most secure men in Drake's target audience age target (we'll say 16-35)most likely areda0 at the stage where they are likely to smile and pull their date close if someone else compliments her beauty (crass choice of words or not).
Conversely, a blantantly insecure man is likely to fly into a jealous rage, directed at either the date for looking provocative, and/or the commenter, or perhaps both. It's actually not ironic although one may think so. Secure guys would not be intimitated by such a comment.
Another subset like you allude to will be repulsed, traumatized, etc. etc. However I think few men in the above target age range at a Drake concert fall into this category.
That all said, in a concert setting, watching a rapper like Drake, we can assume one is not too sheltered. As previously stated, I think most guys would not take these comments too seriously, nor be offended by them. More than likely, a lot of them would be secretly proud that their date was hot enought to get a "celeb" to notice said date.
All of that said, the issue here is clearly not with Drake but rather how some here perceive sexuality in rap and mainstream culture. That is another topic for another forum. If you do not like Drake's comments, I highly suggest you contact his rep.
As mentioned, I've seen everyday average men and women do much more disrespectful activities at concerts than Drake's supposed comments made as part of his show.

I'm simply choosing not to take any of his "show banter" too seriously.
No offense, but average women and men in daily life do and say things that are much more disrespectful to themselves and those around them than some offhand remarks made in a show by a performer.
It is my opinion that if you are respectful of your own body and your own morals and actions, it's fine to be disturbed by such comments, but to not take them too seriously.
Life is too shortI don't care too much about concert banter. But for those truly concerned, I do highly suggest dropping Drake's publicist a line

While I'm not going to disagree that at face vaule these types of comments are "nasty" you have to remember that they should also not be taken seriously in this case. Again, "Drake" was probably just playing up a character in his show. But that aside, it is true that (most) men without insecurities tend to get an ego boost from others finding their partner attractive.
Id say it's the other way around, guys without insecurities wouldn't get any sort of ego boost out of it.. Why do you need acknowledgement/recognition if you ARE secure? Why would it give you a ego boost if some other guy more or less hit on your girl and disrespected you by talking to her in a way that only you really should?
Like some other girl said in this thread, "I wouldn't want to be with a guy that takes that as a compliment", which is a sound statement. I would never take that as a compliment and I am a very secure guy. To have another guy disrespect me by totally ignoring me and my girls intimate bond as lovers I can't really understand how any guy with an ounce of self respect can take that as a compliment, and realistically that whole situation should make any self respecting woman embarrassed Like I said, it's about respecting the intimate bond that a couple has, it has nothing to do with "oh wow, that guy wants to fck the sh!t out of my girl, how nice!". You got this whole thing messed up.
Knock knock, who's there? "Killa Cam", Killa who? Killa Cam, hustler; grinder gorilla true!

Well yes, in "public" that is a rather "nasty" concept. Anyone with half a brain would never admit any of this in public. But let's just say that almost ALL striaght guys are happy to know another male finds their mate desirable. It gives them an ego boost for better or worse.
It's rather obvious-why do you think men WANT to be seen with extremely hot women? It's what most men want. Why do (most) men want trophy wives? Why do (most) men place the physical appearance of women they date above everything else? Sure they want a smart funny women, but ideally only if she's also beautiful. It's the determining factor. Now, I am fully aware there are exceptions, and perhaps some truly "enlightened males", but in general termsfor guys, looks matter. And they want to be seen with the best they can get. Highly attractive looks in a women usually equals good genes (a factor to be considered in a potential mate even if you don't realize it). Most guys want a hot chick, and they want others to appreciate her beauty.
In fact, the one guy I knew who refused to date anyone "hot" (his girlfriends were always much less attractive than him) did that soleley because he knew that he'd "never have to worry about her cheating on him". Nice.
While I'm not going to disagree that at face vaule these types of comments are "nasty" you have to remember that they should also not be taken seriously in this case. Again, "Drake" was probably just playing up a character in his show.
Sorry, but I don't understand your comment as directed at me. ?
I just watched an interview with above said guy (Drake)the bottom line is, unless we personally know the guy, it doesn't make any sense to base his personal characteristics on a role he plays in his shows, in concert, and on TV. Which was my intent as evidenced by my earlier post. Most likely it's a character, an act if you will.
Unless those posting here actually know him personally, I don't understand the labels. In terms of this guy's personal life, we have heard nothing (that I know of) to say he is a bad son, a bad boyfriend, a bad person, abusive, hates women, etc.
As mentioned, I have heard all kinds of ridiculous (and sometimes disgusting) comments made by rock (and rap)performers. It's all part of the show and I don't dwell on it nor dislike a band because a few offhand comments are made. Perhaps when I was younger (say 16-18) but not now. I've relaxed in my old age. And that's because personally, even if I normally would find a comment distasteful, in a concert setting I don't take myself too seriously. It's a show, it's not real. Akon likes to parade "sexy" drunk women up on stage at his shows-I personally think that is more disrespectful to women than a couple of offhand comments.watching some of those women slithering around making fools of themselves rates a higher "offense" to me
If someone wants to debate how women are objectified (by themselves and others) in society and culture that is a whole other thread
My personal opinion is that Drake is a smart (hence cocky) guy who has a hint of awkwardness, self doubt, and hesitation. In otherwords, not so different from a normal 20 something guy. He's trying to milk the most of his fame and pass himself off as a cool guy (epic fail or not). I'm sure some of his shows throw in silly comments for reasons we can only speculate at, but I wouldn't automatically make assumptions on who he is in real life based on a couple of comments at a show.
If anyone here was honestly offended, did you try contacting his rep/website to make your feelings known?
