I'm pretty sure her song "I'm really hot" isn't about her body, but more about the fact that all her singles at the time got popular fast and recieved alot of airplay; furthermore, the talk of her body always seemed more to be about pride in being a woman and having curves, the Halle Berry talk is probably tongue in cheek anyhow.

i agree.. she said her doctor told her that if she didn't lose weight then she would die.. so with her losing all that weight she's proud and she wants to rap about it.. and i also t238hink that she doesn't want younger kids to think that waif skinny is hot.. she wants to put it out there that you can have meat and be sexy!!!

When Missy burst on the scene as a rapper she was pretty chunky and heavy then she lost weight and started singin more sexy. That's natural if you're a woman used to being overweight for most of your life. My girlfriend's sister went through the same thing. Now that she's slim, she's become really vain but it's a fact of life. My problem with Missy is that when she lost the weight, she acted like she was never fat and started insulting fat people in at least one song. Then she tried to cover it up by saying she was trying to empower them to lose weight. The only thing she lost was my respect but I still think she's a great talent. Just not a good role model.
