Yu Aoi is one of Japan's most beautiful and talented actresses. I don't get why her IMDB page is so inactive. Let's get things started. Anyone want to talk about how brilliant she is? What were her best movies? What was her best acting performance? What are her next projects?

The reason for Aoi's page being inactive is that imdb is for the most part an English based website, I get the impression that she is not well known outside of Japan. I myself just found out about her today. Also I find that she is a talented actress.

I first saw her in 'Honey & Clover' - no one says the "Arigato" more beautifully than her. Just finished watching her film 'Million Yn Nigamushi Woman' - very good film and equally great performance!

Great film too.
Only a small role for her in the 2005 "Turtles are Surprisingly Fast Swimmers", in which she was o.k., the role being really too small for her. I see though from her IMDb profile that she has been keeping busy.
