Does anyone else hope that she collaborates with director, Shunji Iwai again?
In my opinion, her two best movies were All About Lily Chou Chou and Hana and Alice, both directed by Mr. Iwai. Shunji also produced and wrote part of the screenplay for the movie Rainbow Song, in which Yu has a small role. Does anyone know who her personal favorite director is?I'm just curious, but I bet its Shunji Iwai. I think they make a good combination and nobody's been able to get the most out of her like Shunji has. Hopefully they work together in the short future.

I'm kind of frustrated with Shunji for taking so long to come out with another full-length feature film. Its been 5 years now since Hana & Alice and all he's done is write a few screenplays, direct a documentary, and that short segment for New York I Love You. He's one of my favorite directors but he needs to get the ball rolling on a new project which he will direct. And whatever it is, I hope he casts Yu and also Ayumi Ito in it.

I think no one has made her shine more on film than Shunji Iwai. xD
Or maybe Yuki Tanada is coming close to that~ LOL
What is Iwai-san up to these days? I know he's got a short
on the New York I Love You collection, awww
how I wish he had included Yu in that short. xD
even if it's got Legolas in it
