apparently it is indeed a musical according to Wikipedia lol but this is hard to imagine and she does not seem to be a fit for the role but who knows? I think Jennifer Grey is bad in the original role too

She's a terrible choice and no thank god it doesn't have singing because her "singing" career was a joke.

I personally think she can surprise everyone with this role.
I fine her to be one of the good actresses that don't get enuff credit at all.
She has a few Major roles that I felt like she did amazing with.
"My sister's keep" "Final Girl" "Perfect sisters" plus "Wicked blood".
I will say her latest movie "Maggie" wasn't at all pretty good but I think it was the story line that made it slow.
I can't remember if "Dirty dancing" has singing in it but I will say she is a pretty good singer.

I'm with you. Terrible choice. I watch Scream Queens and her performance on there is not impressive. The idea of her as Baby Unfathomable. Does she have an uncle at ABC or something?? She's not at all the right physical type for the role, and her acting is lackluster. They shouldn't be making a Dirty Dancing as it is, but my goodness, its like they want it to flop.
