I alwaus thought it was weird how when you first saw Rick Astley you thought you were going to hear some high-pitched teenage boy voice and instead this manly voice came out of him. That was part of his appeal.

The voice does not match. I agree with that.
As for his appearance I have never found him interesting, but at least he looks clean and straight, not like all those today singers who have piercing and tattoes all over the place. Some of them are just disgusting!

I like the fact that his videos are simple, and he is dressed more conservative. It adds more to the feel of the music, and he seems like a good guy compared to what you hear alot of stars doing today. I agree he is pretty handsome, and he has a facial structure that makes him look alot younger than he really is, but the voice does not match. I'am guessing that is what helped him to get recognized faster.

I agree, i've seen that Music video and heard it so many times recently, im starting to find him incredibly attractive, i like the way he dances too, he kinda sways to the music and he uses his hands, it's cute. Lol..
