I recently read the New Testament, Book of Revelation, about the future antichrist-supporting countries. It first speaks about a group of countries resembling a leopard, with feet of a bear and mouth of a lion (Revelation 13:2), that are supported by111c Satan (as Dragon) with some purple-n-scarlet-wearing woman (Revelation 17:3) on seven hills atop a scarlet beast.
There are quite some articles on the web, telling this beast is the European Union, whilst the woman in scarlet and purple is the Catholic Church.
Check out this picture of European Union and decide for yourselves if is there resemblance between the words of the Bible about the first Beast and its appearance:

It doesn't seem as surprising considering that EU politicians are more likely to follow humanistic ideas and the involvement of popes in political struggles and persecution of other Christians throughout the middle ages of Europe.
Please, correct me, if i am mistaken.
But then the following fragment caught my attention:
"Then I saw another beast, coming out of the earth. He had two horns like a lamb, but he spoke like a dragon.He exercised all the authority of the first beast on his behalf, and made the earth and its inhabitants worship the first beast, whose fatal wound had been healed. And he performed great and miraculous signs, even causing fire to come down from heaven to earth in full view of men." (Revelation 13:11-13)
It seems to me the first time, something similar to fire coming down from heaven to earth was the atomic bomb, made by USA.
I thought how come USA, a seemingly christian nation, could be a beast that will force people to worship falsehoods instead of God and Lord Jesus Christ.
But sadly today, i hear USA speaking more about democracy (a strange thing, considering that it doesn't have one and the democracy in ancient Greece, was exclusive to a minor part of its population) and same-gender marriage, whilst Jesus pointed the fallacy even of divorce between man and woman (Matthew 19:4-6).

I've looked about the faith in Jesus Christ of the founding fathers, but actually they liked illuminated rationality more than God's word, and denied the divinity of Christ.

LATER NOTE: Lately i've been thinking about the Mystery Babylon mentioned in the Book of Revelation. Having read a couple of articles about that, they all seemed to agree - that USA is it.
There's no need to panic, since surely Jesus will lead his own sheep to the Kingdom of Heaven, whether before or after physical death.

Again i'd be glad for fellow Christians to correct me, if i'm wrong.
But if i'm not, then i urge brothers in Christ, to look attentively at the legacy of "human rights", "democracy" and catholic church, since they seem to be under the control of the Dragon (satan), and speak pleasing words like tolerance, humanistic morality and anti-discrimination, attempting to persuade people to worship man-made doctrines, instead of the truth in Lord Jesus Christ.
Let us worship God and his son Lord Jesus Christ alone, and be vigilant against the works of the devil, trying to ensnare us with lies.
