i never met the man. i am a fan of d12. when he died, i was just shocked. then all these testimonies came from people who knew him, and they were all talking like he was a great, family man. then that cold blood sh!t, came out and i just got plain confused. I am glad that the truth has seemed to have come out, now with the the witnesses coming forward. that story makes a lot more sense then the cold blood 1. the way people explained the kind of man proof was, didnt match the cold blood story, but it does match "real" story. i just wish i kept more of an eye on his career then i did. all the stuff i've learned about him (being the one who kind of put detriot on the map) all came after his death, and i wish i knew before. i went out and bought his album, and it was pretty good. I.F. proof, is different from shady proof. he said it himself, shady proof was just feeding his kids, and I.F. proof was the real one, for the love of hip hop. after watching the dvd that comes with the cd, it seems that the man eminem, obie trice, kon artis etc. were describing were completely true, and they weren't just saying something nice about him because, he had passed. I still can't believe he's gone. Can't wait for that new D12 & Proof album, to hear the kind of stuff they say and the tributes they will have on thier. I thought "Good Die Young" was a fantastic song, that really show cased the type of talent they had. Pt.2 should be coming.

sexybags, I feel you 100%. we all got a chance to see first hand what kind of person proof was through videos and testimonies from numerous people. This really bugs the hell out of me..I blame the media for all the controversey. I mean, It's not that they made stuff up, it's just that they were so quick to jump to conclusions. All this 'proof shot first' crap was started by mario entherige and his people. Their version of what happened was "Proof lost his temper over a pool game, pistol whipped keith, knocked him down, and shot him in cold blood". The media was using their version as the "official story", but without a complete police investigation and without giving us a chance to hear proof's side give their story..They already took sides from the very beginning. and now everyone is brain washed thinking proof's some kind of a animal who killed a man over a petty pool game.. and the sad part about is, people are actually buying it.

I'm glad it wasn't Bizarre (I'm not trying to attack Proof, I'm just saying the day I found out about him dying I was watching Court TV and on one of the News tickers it said D12 member shot and killed, and I didn't know who it was until later in the day and I was glad that it wasn't Bizzy, but even so may Proof rest in peice.)

This is very similar to the way bugz died. When Andre Hamilton saw bugz beating up his best friend, he got mad and pulled out a gun to shoot him.
anything is possible in detroit, so don't be too quick to doubt. People get shot everyday for the pettiest reasons. Dudes down here will kill you just for looking at them wrong. I even know a dude who was shot over a piece of chicken.
and plus, everyone down here is telling the exact same story about mario accidentley hitting his cousin in the midst of the shooting. and if horny mac was really there, then he needs to come forward..yes i know snitching can cost you your life, but it's the right thing to do

We will never know what happened in the CCC, but I still stick with the story that the Bouncer shot Proof, and Proof only for shooting his cousin, if only Keith had lived he could tell us about what happened. I just find it hard to believe he would shoot his own cousin on accident, it just does not sound right. He must have terrible aim then.

actually my boy Dirty C knows someone who was there, I ain't gonna say much but he told me that someone else is involved in the shooting and his name is Horny Mac. he ran outside when he got shot in the hand and left Proof inside.If you look at proof's funeral pics you will see horny mac with a white cast around his hand. but anyways, According to everyone, including mr. upshaw, After the shooting, Mario Called his uncle who is an officer to give him advice before he turned himself in to the police. His uncle suggested he get himself a lawyer and do the right thing. and that's exactly what he did. and that's when they came up with the story
and if you pick up the new xxl magazine with d12 on the cover it will give you more highlights about the case and never before heard testomonies

Well it doesn't matter cause the Bouncer is not being chared with anything, he was only charged for holding a weapon on him, and if he shot Bender don't you think he would have told authorities out of guilt for killing his cousin? I doubt he'd want to cover that up, and I'm sure even though the media you say is saying a bunch of lies, I'm sure they would have said something too, whereever you got this information I'd like to know cause it could be just as bad as Media Info. Who here lives near Detroit or is a resident? Does Carmen Harlan, and Devin Scillian ring a bell? Ruth Spencer? They are the local news team in Detroit and I basically live right next to it, I'd doubt they'd screw the story up because they are the local news team who are behind Detroit 24/7.

According to the detroit police department: "We have in no way made any conclusions of how, when and who shot mr. Bender. That's what the magazines, Newspapers and media are saying. The mistake the articles made was saying that the police said proof shot first, when really they should have said that's what some of the witnesses claimed".
When you think about it, There's no concrete evidence that proves proof shot this man. NO BALLISTICS, NO SURVEILLENCE CAMERAS, NO WEAPON FOUND. the only evidence the police has is witness accounts, which has since been disputed. What we've heard and read is what's been told by mario entherige, his lawyer mr. Upshaw and witnesses who were also employees at CCC. (notice how all this is coming from Keith Bender's side) Correct me if i'm wrong, but is'nt there two sides to a story? Two witnesses have came forward and disputed the claim that proof shot this man, So Why is everyone jumping to conclusions? If You guys can believe Proof's a killer, then why can't you believe that there may be a chance that he's innocent? The truth lies in the Ballistics.
