Anybody else here from the Detroit area? I never met Proof but I used to hang out at the C.C.C. before it changed hands to whoever has it now. It was a men's membership club for years, strictly blue collar types went there, then it became more open to outsiders and after-hrs. I even bartended there for a bit in the mid 90's. The place was a real hole, and like everybody has said, it is an odd place for somebody like Proof who was actually had something, to be.
