Leighton gets Country Strong with Gwyenth and a song with Cobra Starship, Blake gets random fashion stuff, mo2000vies and The Town, and Jessica gets Piranha. I liked Piranha because it was ridiculous, but no one is going to take her seriously for it. Not to mention her character turned into a total stalker b**** on Gossip Girl and hasn't even been featured on too many recent episodes. I hope her career turns around because I like her, but she needs to pick/get cast in better projects.

She had the least popular character on Gossip Girl. All the fans hated her because her character Vanessa was an annoying, hypocritical, bitch. I wasn't too fond of her character either.
People are glad she's gone. But I like Jessica. I kind of feel bad she's not as big as Blake or even Leighton. She's doing the best she can to get roles.
But she's just getting crappy straight-to-DVD stuff and 5 second cameos in B-list movies. She is very pretty and a decent actress. She deserves much better.

Minority characters normally dont last very long on shows like Gossip Girl anyways. They're either the most 5b4boring characters from the start or made irrelevant eventually. They obviously let the cat out of the bag when they(the production team) discovered she had some Black in her. Tsk, tsk

Her character on Gossip Girl was annoying and irrelevant, so they wrote her off the show.
Now her career is over

Leighton is popular, that's why. Blake is almost as much but she gets by more on sex appeal than charisma like Leighton. Jessica isn't as famous, I think partly because people shallowly don't think she's as attractive as those two but also because her role isn't as big. Not to mention Vanessa doesn't sound horrible like Blair and Serena, and people LOVE dramatic characters.
