IMO I think she can act when she's been given a good role and a good script. I thought she acted quite well in Namaste London, New York, Race and JTHJ. In fact I think her best role was in New York and JTHJ. Am I the only one who feels this way? I'm asking because there are quite a few threads that criticize her acting and I don't understand why fans get the impression that she can't act. She's a really talented dancer as well and I admire her after her dance number in Ishq Shava.

She has grown as an actress, but I can't call her acting good when Kareena is my all time favorite. Katrina may be improving, but she's in no way versatile. That being said, without versatility your acting just passes. Thats about it.

The fact is she CAN act, her performance style however is a lot more subtle and not suited for the more melodramatic Bollywood style of acting. If there's an actress that can successfully crossover its definitely her. Her delivery in Jab Tak Hai Jaan was pretty impressive.
