Wow, no one here. I was a very little kid when I got my copy of 'Brothers In Arms"; I was 4 during Christmas 1984. That whole album is good. The guitar player is also top-notch.

Dire Straits is one of my favorite bands ever. Mark Knopfler is amazing on guitar. I want to purchase a kick ass Dire Straits t-shirt but I can't find any Anybody know where i might find one?

amen to that, dire straits are incredible. I love their melancholy approach to writing songs, and the guitar playing and writing is beautiful. Anybody who has heard "sultans of swing" or "so far away" has gotta attest to that
