Emily Blunt has been a renowned actress for many years now and since her latest
The Girl on the Train
is about to be released on Wednesday (UK) and Friday (USA). This is the perfect time to reminisce on her finest performances over the years and maybe even point out that she should have won an Oscar for some of those performances. In my personal opinion these are my five favourite performances of hers:
1.
The Devil Wears Prada
2.
The Young Victoria
3.
Looper
4.
Edge of Tomorrow
5. Most recently
Sicario
Now it's up-to you to judge what other shinning performances she ha5b4s done.

Oscar? I don
t know. When i see some of the Oscar
s Winners i think Emily Blunt should get an Oscar even for The Muppets.
I know, right? I guess she's not flashy enough for the Oscars and her most recent performances, especially in Girl on the Train were just in movies that didn't have the money to blow the Academy for nominations like all the big studios do.
OMG! This is the best comment i have read. Couldn't agree more.

Personally, i love all her performances. Even Empire or Guliver
s Travels (which is a terrible movie i must say). But if i really had to choose: 5. Gideon
s daughter.
4. The Girl on the Train.
3. My Summer of Love.
2. Arthur Newman.

Sicario.
(I had to exclude Sherlock Holmes, which is the only movie i haven
t seen yet). But i believe she has far more potential. Oscar? I don
t know. When i see some of the Oscar`s Winners i think Emily Blunt should get an Oscar even for The Muppets.

Your sisters sister and girl on the train are my favorites. Sunshine cleaning would have been good but I cannot stomach Amy Adams. She is the worst. The elevated tip of her nose is so distracting and every time she smiles there are huge bags and crows feet.

I think my favorite performances from her were in Sunshine Cleaning, Arthur Newman, My Summer of Love, Sicario, and The Young Victoria. She's great in everything, and I've seen pretty much all of her work with the exception of The Muppets and The Girl on the Train.

I think the closest she got to a perfect performance is in Into The Woods, followed by Sicario, Your Sister's Sister and The Devil Wears Prada.
But when it comes to overall memorable or favorite characters she played, then Rita Vrataski (Edge of Tomorrow), Prudie (Jane Austen), Sarah (Looper)and Elise (The Adjustment Bureau) come to mind.
Rachel (The Girl on The Train) is fast tracking to top that list.
She's a chameleon. Love her.

Well, the first thing I saw her in was Edge of Tomorrow and I fell in love with her there.
I started looking for more films she had been in based on my reaction to that film.
So, while it mightn't actually be her best performance, it's the one I'm always going to feel the strongest towards.
So far, I have liked her in everything I saw her in.
