<p dir="auto">And as I predicted BATFA was the end of the line for her.<br />
Blunt is a talented actress but Rosmund Pike probably barely got in for Gone Girl despite it having very good reviews. Blunt had no chance to get in for a critically panned film. The bright side is at the film is financially successful, she should be happy with that.</p>

<p dir="auto">Yes,  she totally deserves the SAG nomination for her performance in that film. What is inexplicable is the reaction it's getting from a lot of critics. Her performance was clearly strong enough to warrant this nomination and yet articles are being written claiming it is a travesty of justice which is utterly ridiculous! What I find more ridiculous is the fact that she hasn't been included in the conversation when discussing other high profile awards.</p>

<p dir="auto">She did ALL the heavy lifting in that dreck of a film, and that alone is an outstanding acting achievement. Glad the actors could recognize it.</p>
