I think Odd Couple is a multiple camera show, while Community is a single camera show, and I think multiple cam shows take less time to shoot, since they have more shots to choose from, thereby reducing the reshoots. I also think Yvette might have less screen time in The Odd Couple.

Apparently the shooting schedule for Odd Couple is a lot more flexible than Community (and likely to get more so very soon from the looks of it). Girl's gotta work. If she can find a way to do both then more power to her.

I thought Yvette Nicole Brown was taking time off and not doing Community bc of her dying father, and all of a sudden she's on the new Odd Couple?

Yea confused me too. Also thought quitting your job to care for your father was a big weird for someone with her money.

Maybe her father was dying shoot, maybe he died and she decided to throw herself into her work instead of wallowing?
And, who knows, maybe she'll guest star on "Community".
