Was is the keyword. She was uncredited in that movie but lately she has been credited in the Monk episodes that she's appeared in. As a result, in sure that she'll receive more credited roles in the future. That's just the nature of the business as most stars start out as uncredited but eventually rise to stardom. Adam Sandler was uncredited and unknown in the Cosby Show but look at him now.

You're naive and don't know what you're talking about. If you're a background actor and you have no speaking lines and you're there simply for decoration, there's no reason why you should get screen credit.

I get your point but I think it's nice when certain(nonspeaking)roles are put in the credits, and they usually do this if the role was, at all, noticeable. Sometimes I see someone in an older TV show or Movie that had a small or nothing part and I like to look them up to see if they ever went on to do more work or maybe even become famous, So

Emmy would have only been about 3 or 4 when JP2 was filmed

I was watching 'NBK' the other day and remarked to my wife that I thought that was the girl that played Natalie's daughter on Monk. This just confirms it.

Um, if every single extra (people in the background with no lines) was credited, the credits at the end of a movie or TV show would take like two hours.
Extras shouldn't be credited unless they're featured extras, or have speaking lines.

I know thats not fair anyone in a film deserve to be credited.
I made films before with a media group they all said i was absolutley amazing, i din't think so though it's just because in real life i am really sweet and nice and i was playing a charactor who was really pissd off and angry.
So they kind of never seen this side of me before.
Forgot to tell you we made a film right and somebody who was meant to credited was walking down the hallway and didn't speak just gave us a ticket to be able to go to the medical room but wasn't credited that wasn't fair so i spoke to my tutor and we got her credited

Actually, I do that kind of work a lot. It's called BACKGROUND ACTING, you don't get credited for that. You also never have speaking lines. I do it all the time, yet I've never been in a cast or in a movie(except the neice in Mission Impossible3).
