She was so stunning on BL. Until they hit her in profile. That's quite a schnoz.

Put me in the "it gives her character and makes her stand out from the cookie cutter cuties" crowd.
Maybe it's just me,but the females I meet that have an "other than ideal" feature tend to be more interesting and less selfish than the out and out beauty queens.
And it really says something about the level of self-confidence of an actress who resists the temptation to go for the artificial. This woman actually likes herself, and people who like themselves are people who are fun to be around.

I, for one, like it. It give her character.
The last thing she needs is to become a boring run-of-the-mill vanilla bleached blonde.
If there's one thing we don't need, it's to encourage more women to have plastic surgery.
I applaud her for keeping the nose. Why she messes with the hair, I don't know, but at least her nose is natural.
Entertainment and politics I see Ellsworth Toohey is winning

But that is the point. Her face is not disfigured by her nose or unattractive at all. If you're distracted by it, then that's interesting, but I'm sure that the majority of people watching don't even think twice about it.
I haven't watched Boston Legal in a year or so but I guarantee the size of her nose was not memorable to me. I don't see what the big deal is. I think only people who have had plastic surgery, or who often think about plastic surgery, would stop to think "wow, that's a face flaw." That's not a dig at others on this board, just a statement.

There's nothing wrong with not having a nose job, but it's surprising that a successful and otherwise attractive woman in such an image-obsessed industry would not have that nose reduced (assuming she hadn't already had it reduced as much as possible)
Considering that her nose looks fine straight-on she would still look like Tara Summers if the profile was corrected. (Did changing her hair color suddenly make her not look like Tara Summers?) He nose is so large that I would almost consider it a disfigurement. It was actually distracting on Ringer because a serious scene would be playing out but if a profile shot of Summers was shown that was all I could pay attention to.
I was on the Ringer board and came here. She hasn't been on that show in months but the size of her nose was so memorable that it actually caused me to come over here in curiosity to see if anyone had mentioned it.

It's not taboo. It's just that she's gorgeous already. If she got a nose job, she wouldn't look like Tara Summers anymore. I doubt she's having troub2000le moving on with her life.

She's flippin' gorgeous Changing her nose would be criminal.
Never been a fan of the la carte approach to the assessment of beauty. IMO, a person's individual features cannot be placed in a column and tabulated in order to arrive at some sort of 'hotness score'. Everything from information, to art, to a person's features must be appreciated in context, or something is lost (in one way or another).
Summers is a stunning woman, and i hope she doesn't change (meaning physically alter) a thing.

I don't think she's ugly at all, from far it actually. Go to Google and type the word 'ugly' then talk.
I think she is unconventionally pretty and she's really good in Ringer.
