SHe was only in the pilot. They recast the daughter and reshot the pilot. However, they did just air the original pilot with Marano as Mohr's daughter.

AS far as anyone knows. It is just a pilot so far, so we may never get to see it even.

Actually, that show was listed on her credits before Back To You turned up. It is a voice acting gig, which takes a lot less time to do. The reason she was dumped has never been officially announced (beyond the semi-official 'different direction' excuse) and her next big project still isn't known.
I imagine there is more to the story than is generally known, but her new project is rhoumoured to be a CBS Sitcom.

I cannot believe they recast her, the 'new' Gracie just doe's not seem right.

Fox's "Back to You" returned with a new episode and some tweaks to the cast. Weathercaster Montana (Ayda Field) will appear in one more episode, but the character will disappear after that. Producers and the network decided the character had run its course, according to the show's publicist.
They also decided to go in a "different direction" and recast Gracie. Lily Jackson takes over the role from Laura Marano.
