Her father Bruce Sudano was from Brooklyn, was in a group called Brooklyn Dreams, and because that group worked with DONNA SUMMER, whom he married 3 years after meeting her, they named their first child after the group he was with and the town he was from.
Brooklyn Dreams is the backing band for Donna Summer's hit song HEAVEN KNOWS.
It's a gorgeous name, and a wonderful story in the music business.
Donna has 3 children, Mimi, from her first marriage, Brooklyn and Amanda Grace from her second marriage. Amanda is currently part of the musical group johnnyswim as well as a fashion model who looks and sounds like her mother.
