I know girls who lost theri virginity at 13 to 16/17 year old guys. It's not that uncommon.

honestly, I'm not trying to be a dick here but if you take precautions like wearing a condom and being on birth control the chances of getting pregnant are very very slim.

It isn't about the fact that she lost her virginity at 14, even though that IS too young. If people are having sex under the age of 16, then they're too young but obviously kids will do as they please and you can't stop them. What really bugs me though is people saying, "oh I know plenty of 13 and 14 year olds having sex." Yeah, that's something to brag about. Having sex does not make you more mature but I guess some people just don't get that. Whatever.

14 is very young and kids which they are dont know what their getting into. even if their safe i was very safe and i was 18 with my bf. and i got preg. i dont regret a thing but i always say to younger ones if you think your ready to have sex then be ready to have a baby to because it happens and has happened to alot nothing is 100% pregnancy proof unless you get your tubes tied which im sure they wont or you get the implant. alot of these younger kids think that its okay to have a kid when you are a kid but to be honest their child will grow up hating them if all they do is dump it on their parents.

well, I agree with that up to a point. I'd like to think you would tell your 11 year old to wait until she was emotionally ready. 11 is probably not the right age. Regardless, I know someone who has stated that they will not have sex until they are married so they can give that person their special gift. That's fine, but he lectures everyone that will listen that you have to wait. I don't agree with people who force their values on others. It's wrong. Who cares at what age someone else has sex. What happened to personal choice. Furthermore, I really hate it when people bring up all the risks you are taking having sex at an early age. If you take precautions there is literally no risk.

i do understand. i understand that they're gonna wanna do it, and if they really want to, theyre going to weather we give them permission or not.

Having sex at 14 imo is very VERY stupid. i mean what if the condum broke, any thing cood happen, what if she got pregnant. i mean i dont know how it happened im just saying that boy was clearly takig advantage of her.
