I've only seen The OA and The Sound Of My Voice. I'm curious.are all of her movies like this? They don't really give you an ending. You have to come up with one on your own based on how you took it all in? I love it and I hate it, lol. I really wish Sound Of My voice had a sequel.

It's her thing.
Another Earth was brilliant. Didn't like Sound of my voice and on the fence with the OA, which is like Sound of My Voice 2.

Just wanted to note that she didn't write "I Origins," just acted in it. For another movie she wrote, there's "The East," which has more of a traditional ending, though I think she does like to keep things a bit open ended.

Haha well don't watch Another Earth or I Origins then, because they too end with the "are they or aren't they" cliffhanger. Actually do watch them because both are beautiful. Another Earth is one of my faves ever.
Wasn't The OA similar in feel to Sound Of My Voice, difference being the
human/angel
vs.
timetraveller
. It was almost as if OA was an offshoot of SOMV, which I totally didn't mind btw, though I know they are stand alone pieces.
