You're right, ChrisI was wondering if anyone noticed how the pronounce their double Os in Baltimore. I had a friend in the Army from Baltimore, and he talked like that, but I thought it was just him. When I started watching 'The Corner' and 'The Wire', I realized that they all speak like that. I think it's just the black people that use that hard double O. I've never heard any of the white people in the cast use it.
