Try watching him again, he has gotten better. I've seen some comedians that I was embarrassed to watch especially if they are Filipinos because I feel they were representing us as a people, but some of them like Jo Koy get better. If you follow the bios of the most funniest comedians today, you'll notice how much they used to tank in the past. It's a process where you learn & polish your skill. Jokoy is one of them. He really is good.

my friend and I saw him at the Pheasant Run Inn in Illinois a couple years back for a benefit for Firefighters and all he did was make fun of one guy in the audience the entire time who incidentally was a firefighter. Needless to say we walked out. This guy sucks ass.

yea i admit his jokes about his mom are a little disturbing, but this guy is really funny. one of the few comedians u watch and he actually can bring tears to your eyes. if you watch his youtube videos people share the same sentiment. funny how the haters with no life come to his imdb board to bash. how many losers are there on imbd? goodness.

I bet hes genuinely a funny person to talk and joke around with. I also think hes funny on those I love the(whatever) shows. But I have to agree that his stand up sucks balls.
My wife is a Filipina and even she thought he sucked. The only jokes that we kinda laughed at was the jokes he made about Filipinos, which if you are not Filipino, or dont know any Filipinos, then those jokes will make absolutely no sense to you. I watched the whole show, even though my wife was fighting me for the remote cuz she felt embarrassed at how bad he was. LOL, as if he was giving her country a bad name.
This brings up another question. Why the hell is Comedy Central having all these 5hity standup comedians? Everyone Ive seen this week sucked.

Let's see, 15 minutes into this 'act,' we've got:
People from Alabama are stupid
French are rude
Women can't drive
Black people can't swim
His mom is foreign and can't speak good English
But hey, at least when he uses tired stereotypes, the material is lazy too.
Yeah, I'm done. I'm going to my local open mic where people actually have fresh material. Seriously, I know a dozen struggling locals that would blow this guy out of the water.
