She's a pretty face with marginal talent. Her story is a big part of her appeal. Her continued success is more about the audience than it is about her talent.
And she should really stop payin238g tributes to people who are far more talented than she'll ever be. She butchered Linda Ronstadt at the Rock and Roll HoF, singing out of tune for half the song. She can sing some, but she clearly isn't a very well trained musician. So country music is for her.

Ok Taylor doesn't have more fans, her fans are little girls, and Carrie's are every age group! I saw a 3 yr old at her concert singing away.

Carrie co-writes most of her songs! Some hearts she co wrote one song. Carnival Ride she co-wrote 5. Play On she wrote 8/13 and Blown Away she wrote 8/14. On her greatest hits album she co wrote 2 song (the only new ones). So stop! Carries vocals and music beat Taylor's anyday. She actually sings about things that matter!
