<p dir="auto">I do like Heather's performance in Hellcats, but I had a laugh that the character's last name is "Verdura".   It's the Spanish word for "vegetable"!  That's the first thing I think of, and it's not a very good surname.</p>

<p dir="auto">After I posted, I did find that it's a name of a river somewhere in Italy.  So that's probably what the creators meant.<br />
Even so, it IS the Spanish word for "vegetable" and that's where my mind went first (and laughed when it did).<br />
Still, nothing negative about Heather herself or her performance.  She is doing a great job.</p>

<p dir="auto">Not a language expert, but isn't Verdura also Italian/Sicilian for "Green?" They never mentioned Alice's ethnicity, but we'll find out soon since her dad shows up in the next episode.</p>
