I think Katherine is hot. She is dressed up like a tart on Corrie, but she has a natural beauty they are hiding.
She's also got tons of talent!

Right
Katherine Kelly (III) appears to win that prize
as the most beautiful actress
to come along in quite some time
She looks radiant in period costume
and formal attire
and dressy fashions
and can wear any color hair or clothing
Only in church settings
would you find anyone lovlier
than Katherine Kelly (III)
with that sweet demeanor
and pleasant smile
Because she carries herself well
with style, class, grace and elegance
and acts very nice and polite on screen
which just goes to show how far
proper manners can go
Not even Mad Scientists
get it right every time

Selfridge has concluded and I must say, she ran with the program. Pretty much right from the start, everyone else was eclipsing Piven.
She has a properness that is uncanny. I watched her in The Guilty as well and was somewhat surprised to see it was the same actress. She can convey unaware just as easily as she does unbelievable proper behavior.

Yes, she definitely is a scene-stealer! I'll see if Corrie Street'll tickle my fancy. I do appreciate your giving light on her character as Lady Loxley.

Yeah, I'd say this season there's definitely a twistone that I didn't consider.
I only just started watching Corrie Street reruns and am on her early eps, but just from Mr. S she steals the sceneand I think she does make Mae really sympathetic.
I don't wanna give too much away!
Next week though I think we're getting backstory, which is exciting.

I'm following it on www.couchtuner.eu. I have yet to keep followin it (last episode seen was S2E4). Do you think she'd be a character with a twist beyond all her being too nosy with her unwanted opinion on others? This being based on the Selfridges' experience?

Wait did you see Series 2 yet? She's a way better actress than I knew.
I mean,
we find out Loxley is abusive, which explains a lot.
I've started watching her old Corrie Street episodes too, I heard those were good.

She plays an annoying role in Mr. Selfridge. A polygamous wife in the movie with one angle to her tilted beauty because of her jaw.

She's kind of a "jolie laide." Not conventionally pretty but attractive in a unique, interesting way.
