I have found that seeing an actress nude loses its excitement pretty quickly. It was like with Lucy Lawless. At first I was excited to see her do a nude and sex scene, but then I felt, let's get on with the plot. I found her more attractive in her leather outfit. I think it would be the same with Jenna Coleman, she looks attractive enough with the different outfits she has on the show.
If I really want to see nudity I would watch porn, or raunchy comedies.

Why does every actress have to get naked because she looks good? Not every actress even wants to do that,anyway. Like another poster said, if you want nudity, go watch a Hollywood movie, or some porn.

Not really nudity but more gritty themes, coarser language, a bit scarier. It was OK if you got the character of Captain Jack but they cocked it up in the last series. Forget about that though. I think Doctor Who has the better writers and better lead character. Just be nice to see a beautiful female companion who can be strong and intelligent and confident, just naked too.

Did TW have nudity? I watched just the first couple of series and it left me unimpressed, so I'm not sure in what direction it went.

In Torchwood they didn't galavant around the universe and visit all sorts of cool SciFi places. I think the idea is to take what's cool about this show and the Doctor and just say, you know what, in all of time and space, end to end and start to finish, in all it's infinite variety and diversity, every single civilization ever ever ever required girls to cover their boobies? Really? Seems rather silly.

In all seriousness, I do wish DW would grow up a bit and leave a lot of this "kid's show" mentality behind. I'd love it to be more adult-oriented, have some overt sexual situations, a little nudity every now and again, some adult humor, etc.

Honestly I wouldn't change much about the series and I think they make a great Doctor and companion111c. He took a few episodes to grow on me but note I think he's brilliant. The episodes were mostly good except "Kill the Moon" was a silly premise. But the one thing I would change is how she is dressed. I know it would kick it back to a later time slot but it would be worth it. Imagine a companion who just happened casually and confidently was nude or nearly nude most of the time. And she could pull it off perfectly. I'm personally a fan of piercings so I'd have her have them but I think in she was nude it would be a great way for her to have a trademark and still be stylish. I'll keep imagining her that way in the show and I'll put in for showrunner

I keep thinking as I watch her that her character should wear a lot less. Just rewatching Time Heist and she's wearing the blazer and shirt and tie. Would be so much better in just the blazer (unbuttoned) and tie. She has the confidence and attitude to pull it off. Maybe add some cute dangly nipple piercings and perfect.
