Oh dear. It might be happening - the thing I have dreaded for sometime. Just read the latest rumour of this, which sad to say appears to have some substance. She'll be leaving before the Xmas special??
Whilst I am in despair, the only saving grace could be if Maise Williams takes over as the companion. Game of Thrones is crap, it would much better for MW to be killed off in that and do DW.

Good riddance to her. She could not leave soon enough. Normally, I would be upset about knowing how the series will end but in this case I am happy to know it will end in Clara's demise.
