He said Pinoy! (another word for Filipino) aaah so happy right now lol

Filipinos are very "mixed" as an ethnicity.
There's probably Malay there, as well as a smattering of Chinese, Spanish/Caucasian and a few other nationalities.

Filipinos are a mixture of people, it doesn't make them any less Filipino. It's like saying Japanese are not really Japanese because they are a mixture of Jomon, Korean & Chinese. Also, the Spanish ancestry would probably be very miniscule, some Filipinos even lie about it.

It's really interesting though- even though he is half Filipino, he practically looks 120% Caucasion, lol. His brother, Chuck, definitely looks Asian.

Me and many of my friends are part-Filipino and full but we hear that **** all the time + "Oh I thought you were [insert other ethnicity]" or "I wouldn't have picked you for a Filo" etc We will always look filo coz we are filo, derrr.
