I confuse her with Forest Whitaker. Yes, I know their last names are spelled differently, she's a woman and he's not, he's older than she is, she's British and he's American, one is black the other is white, BUT (lol!) the name of the character that Forest Whitaker played in "The Crying Game" was named "Jody" and for some reason that has stuck in my head.
So, for instance, when I hear "'The Assests", a new miniseries starring Jodie Whittaker'" or I start watching something and her name flashes by in the opening credits, I get confused. It happened with "Broadchurch" and "Black Mirror", too. This is at least the third thing I've started to watch something thinking that Forest Whitaker was going to be in it and then he wasn't. Now that I've finally identified her and put her face with her name (and written this confession of sorts) it (probably) won't happen again.
Is it just me? (Go ahead, you know you want to reply, "Yes, it's just you!")

Not sure if it was just you but now I'm pretty sure I will mix up the names.
