I've only seen her in Disturbia. I thought she did a fine job. I can't stand it when people over-act to the point where it's just not believable, like many [especially] young actors tend to do. But that wasn't the case with her. I thought she played a realistic high school girl.

Just saw her in 'Chosen', the Crackle web TV series, and she was beep in that, too. I don't even think she's all that cute, so why does she get work? She delivers her lines with no emotion, and with the same monotone whether she's orgasming, or taking her last breath. Maybe she's good on the casting couch? I was relieved when she got killed in Chosen - the Bad Acting was done! Yippee!!

How one person is so incapable of convincingly displaying an organic and natural human response such as crying is well beyond me.

I agree with the OP. She is absolutely horific as an actress.
Another girl who got famous and rich for her looks and not her talent.
She was terrible in Disturbia and simply awful in The Event. Which is a real shame as her male co-star in The Event is quite good and convincing.
Although, I'm glad I have seen her as she is a very attractive girl. I have her on instant memory recall now.

I know right! Her crying is by far the worst part of her acting. And the terrible thing about it is that is basically all she does in The Event. I really really really really really hope her character is killed off (assuming the show does come back, is it cancelled or what's going on?). She is literally a scene stealer, and I mean that in the absolute worst possible way. I really like the show, but when she's on screen, it's hard to watch.

I'm not superstitious, but I am a little stitious.
