I thought the same thing at first, but got used to her and really started to like her this last season. Didn't like the ending for her, though =(

People keep saying this, as if looks are the only thing that determine her worth. Clearly, in terms of personally, chemistry, etc. she is beyond the league of any of his exes. I'm wondering about all the people who seem to think looks define how worthy a girl is - have any of you ever been in a loving relationship?

Shes OK, but she does seem a bit mousy, you can't say she is good for Ted because she has a lot in common with Ted, she is a character on a tv show, they can make a supermodel act the same traits. Ted doesn't need someone extremely hot or something, its just that for the time he has waited they could at least have given him someone in the legue of his previous girlfriends.

Wow that's very shallow. Love is never about looks and I think she is as pretty as any girl Ted has dated. If you look only for the hottest girl then you must remember that youth doesn't last and that beauty is a perspective thing that not everyone agrees upon. However true love is about chemistry and compatibility. It's actually caring about the person for who they are and not what they look like. I am more curious about their chemistry, so far so good. The creators would not have looked for the hottest girl, but the girl who can mirror Ted and be his other half. Would have been very shallow to choose because5b4 of looks. I think they found the right Mom.

LF is currently 26 and could obviously play 30 or so-would also explain why the kids look like they do ie not much like Ted or the chosen 'Mother'

I would so love to see photos posted of the wives and girlfriends of these guys alleging Cristin is "plain", assuming any of them even have any. I think that would give new meaning to the term.

she looks like a cross between fonseca and henry who play their kids. i think its pretty good.

I think she's very cute. Ted is supposed to be an "everyman" type character so it wouldn't be believable for him to marry a gorgeous, model-like character. That's not what 99% of people do. She's cute enough. More important is that she is the right compliment to Ted in character and personality.
