Actresses getting naked in a scene shouldn't be an issue. Rue's scene required her to act in a situation where she was nude. What's the big deal. It certainly should not be career suicide. Hats off to her. As for julianna guill I really hope she does it again.

Americans are idiots about ghetto-izing actresses for doing nudity and/or doing horror movies. But actresses like Megan Fox, Blake Lively, and Jennifer Love Hewitt don't do nudityeven WHEN the role clearly calls for itand they're not exactly respected either.
On the other hand, TALENTED actresses like Rooney Mara, Amber Heard, Juno Temple, Emily Browning, and Elizabeth Olson have done nudity and appeared in horror movies, but none them has done nudity IN a horror movie. (Scarlett Johanssen just did though).
Talent is a factor. Talented or not, Betsy Rue seems content to do softcore/"scream queen" stuff like "Lucky Bastard". Juliana Gull hasn't broken into the mainstream, but neither has Danielle Panabaker who was in the same movies as Gull and Rue (and "Piranha 3DD to boot), but kept her clothes on. And Katherine Heigl has floundered by doing nothing but romantic comedies and definitely NOT getting naked. So clearly there are other factors involved.

Anna Hutchison is in the last series of Spartacus. I am pretty sure that she will gain international attention along with other actors.

Not to mention quite a few Oscar winners, including Helen Mirren, Susan Sarandon, Jodie Foster
It's not so much having nude scenes in your career, but horror movies. Long gone are the days when a Jamie Lee Curtis could become a star from working in that genre.

Tell that to Emmanuelle Beart, Eve Green, Maggie Gyllenhaal and though not an Actress, Michael Fassbender.

Their fault.
They wanted notoriety and had no shame to think carefully about the impact on their career.
When you strip 100% naked, it's pretty hard to take you seriously as an actress.
