Hollywood goe sthrough certain trends. Sometimes it chooses to promote intelligent discourse, images, and a healthy looking person.
Other times it chooses a more trashy mod glam phase. The 60's was the mod glam phase, the 70's was more the vagabond look. the 80's returned to glam, the 90's was about mod, and now the 2000's is trashy glam again.
I have my partial likes (the 80's). but with each look comes models and actors who fit that image. Right now, stick thin is promoted just as the mod glam styles are.
Does it make hollywood right or wrong to promote these images? i think we have to remember that hollywood is a business. it's always searching for the next thing that it can make money off of. Hollywood doesnt care about you or me or what we do to our bodies, it only cares about money.

She looks just fine the way she is. We need all body types for actors and actresses. not just ONE.

yes they do you cant be a psychical being and NOT have them. even men do. i mean curves are both your hip-waist ratio but sometimes they can mean having big boobs and some 'padding' on you like nikki and america ferrera before she got skinny. kate moss looks wayyyy too thin but shes curvy, cause she has lots of curves.

You're right.
Nowadays you hear more about 'curvy women are beautiful' than 'skinny women are pretty too'. Some people don't have curves.
I've heard someone say "I like my curves, I don't want to be a stick". that's considered okay, but what if someone said, "I like being slim, I don't want to be a fat cow".
Healthy weight=Beautiful inside and out.

It's interesting that, in this ridiculous exaggeration that you've created, you could specify exactly HOW BIG this province is.
I'm against normality. Everyone has a different build, different ability and different genes than the next person. There is no single uniform body type, and to say that there is and that everyone should strive in the same direction is foolish and harmful, and we can see the kind of harm it's doing.
POWDERED

I have a normal weight but like woman with curves and I
m sure I
m not the only one. Nikki says she is comfortable with herself and I wish more people would be able to do that.
She got a normal role where she is married to a cute man. She is very talentet and I hope more people can see that and not only her weight.
Use time building people up instead of pushing them down.

Oh, I doubt most of her fans are morbidly obese. Perhaps a large number are overweight, but I seriously doubt all of them are. I also must contest the idea that simply being confident about yourself in spite of what people think of your body type is "promoting a very unhealthy lifestyle." Do thin actresses promote thinness just by being celebrities who happen to be thin? No, I'm sure if you were asked that, you'd deny it. So, how is the reverse true for larger people? People don't asked to be placed on a pedestal by their fans, it just sort of happens. I just can't stand it when someone suggests that a larger person who exists in the public's eye is somehow promoting their body type. Also, why is that kind of pressure always placed on female actors? I can guarantee that nobody would give Kevin James this kind of crap.
